You may have learned from local media that NEU membership has rejected the new pay offer. The strike action proposed for 12, 13 and 14 December will therefore be going ahead.

The NASUWT continue to ballot members, so their action remains suspended.

The majority of our teaching staff belong to NASUWT and so we don’t anticipate that the strikes will impact the running of the college directly. The College will remain open. Some learning may however need to move online to allow teaching staff to supervise their own primary school aged children: the amount of learning that is delivered online will not exceed 20%. Any affected students will be notified by their lecturer directly via Teams.
