Jersey Hairdressing Awards: Live Seminar
The Jersey Hairdressing Awards is hosting a live seminar at Highlands College which aims to educate and inspire Jersey hairdressers on how to produce a professional collection, while showcasing their creativity.
Industry professionals, including make-up artists, photographers and co-stylists, will conduct a live photoshoot scenario, providing invaluable insights. The evening will also include networking opportunities for hairdressers and photographers preparing to create their personal collections in anticipation of the first ever Jersey Hairdressing Awards in autumn 2025.
Whether you are an industry newcomer or a master of your craft – there’s something for everyone. The live seminar will take place on Thursday 24 October, from 6-8.45pm.
The Jersey Hairdressing Awards aims to provide a fair and inclusive competition for all (autumn 2025), with a range of professional categories to enter:

- Eastern Hairdresser of the Year
- Northern Hairdresser of the Year
- Southern Hairdresser of the Year

- Trend Image of the Year
The live seminar will be a fantastic opportunity to see the standard expected to compete in the brand new hairdressing competition.
It also serves as a platform to catapult young, upcoming hairdressers.
The Jersey Hairdressing Awards will culminate in an Awards Ceremony Ball later next year, celebrating the finalists and promoting the vibrant creative scene within Jersey.
The evening will include dinner, entertainment, and the announcement of award winners.
Additionally, the live seminar presents a unique opportunity for attendees to meet with the Hair and Beauty Industry Authority (HABIA) and other stakeholders, further enhancing professional development and industry connections, as well as giving the industry a common voice.
