One of our recent University College Jersey (UCJ) graduates, Sian Creavy, who completed her BA (Hons) in Childhood Studies, has had her paper accepted for publication within the British Journal of School Nursing. Sian conducted an experimental study in conjunction with Family Nursing & Home Care titled ‘Improving children’s experience of school immunisations’. The purpose of the study was to evaluate the method of using music as a distraction in reducing children’s immunisation pain and thus improving their overall immunisation experience. Congratulations, Sian! You can read Sian’s paper, here.
