Who is this course for?
This course is for people in industry to gain certification as a Carpenter or Joiner and gain practical and theoretical skills in the trade.
What are the entry requirements for the course?
Grade ‘D’ in English and Maths, or Level 1 Functional Maths and Literacy.
The applicant must also be employed within the industry.
How long is this course?
A three-year part-time course, commencing September each year.
One day per week: Monday – Friday specific to level and cohort.
Time: 8.00am to 4.00pm.
What will I study on this course?
Site Carpenter skills in a full range of making or fixing wood products.

What Qualification will I gain?
C&G Level 2 Diploma.
Will I go out on work experience?
The applicant will already be employed within the industry.
How is the course assessed?
By successful completion of seven units at Level 2; one external multiple choice on-line test per level; a number of synoptic tests per level.

C&G Level 3 Diploma in Wood Occupations (Site)
