Who is this course for?
This course is for tradespersons wishing to become skilled in the planning, installation and maintenance of complex plumbing and heating systems.
What are the entry requirements for the course?
Have successfully completed a relevant Level 2 qualification in Plumbing/Heating.
How long is this course?
A part-time course for 2 years commencing September 2021.
Attendance is on a day release basis (Wednesday).
Time: 8.30am to 4.30pm.
What will I study on this course?
Theory and principles relating to the planning, installation and maintenance of complex domestic plumbing and heating systems including: cold water, hot water, heating, sanitation and oil.
What Qualification will I gain?
Level 3 Diploma in Plumbing Studies.
How is the course assessed?
By successful completion of a mix of online tests and externally set examinations, in addition to practical tests.
What does this course lead on to?
Further studies in selected areas of the Mechanical Services or Construction Industry.
