This three-year full-time or six-year part-time course, tailored specifically to meet the childcare sector of Jersey’s requirements through a blended learning delivery by equipping you with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in your chosen field. Through this programme of study, you will gain a deep understanding of child development while developing essential management and pedagogical practices.

The deadline for applications is 31st January 2024. What are the entry requirements for the course:
· 96 UCAS points / International baccalaureate: minimum 25 points.
· GCSE Maths and English at grade 4/C or above.
· Other level 3 qualifications will be considered and mature applicants with relevant professional experience will be considered on an individual basis.
· All candidates will need to have a successful interview and clean police record check What will I study on this course:

What qualification will I gain:
BA(Hons) Childhood Studies, with Level 3 early years competencies.
How will it be assessed:
The method of assessment varies between modules and your tutors will advise you of the method(s) to be used. Examples include literature reviews, observations, presentations, group projects and case studies. The variety of assessment modes reflects the need for students to develop a range of different knowledge, understanding and skills.What does this course lead on to:

BA(Hons) Childhood Studies or employment within the private, statutory and charitable sectors. Work Experience:
Throughout the course, you will work closely with organisations and professionals already in this sector in Jersey. This will enable you to apply your academic learning to the workplace. The course will also give you important transferable skills that will enhance your employability. How much will it cost:
Fess for this course are £9,250 per year when opting to study full time (three years) or £4,625 per year part time (six years).
