Who is this course for?
Completion of this full Level 3 Diploma allows apprentices to complete their apprenticeship and become a qualified tradesperson.
What are the entry requirements for the course?
Completion of Level 2 or similar NVQ Level 2 qualification.
How long is this course?
A two-year part-time course, commencing September 2024
One day per week: 8.30am to 4.30pm.
What will I study on this course?
The units previously studied at Level 1 and 2 are covered in further detail; the Fabrication becomes more complex and all Welding consists of working in the overhead position.
What Qualification will I gain?
ABC Welding and Fabrication Practice Level 3 Diploma.
How is the course assessed?
By successful completion of a mix of externally set examinations and assessed practical tasks.
What does this course lead on to?
HNC in Construction/Engineering.
