This is a newly designed programme to meet the needs of postgraduate study for a wide-ranging group of undergraduates. It is offered on a part-time only basis with the expectation that students will be in employment in Advanced Research Methods Ethics in Research Island Studies Masters Project Candidates require an appropriate background to honours degree level (2:1 or above) or equivalent and are expected to have achieved at least 2:1 standard or equivalent in any undergraduate research project/dissertation course or module they have taken. Candidates are required to submit transcripts of supporting documents such as a first degree. Non-UK qualifications may be crosschecked with universities. Relevant work experience may be taken into consideration. Candidates are also required to demonstrate their proficiency in English (e.g. GCSE, AS Level, A Level, IB, Cambridge Proficiency Certificate level 4-5, their chosen area, recognising the importance of real-world experience in shaping the academic journey. This professional engagement ensures that the knowledge and skills developed during the course are directly applicable to current industry practices, while also providing students with opportunities to further their careers.

How long is this course and when does it run?

This course is a 2 year programme offered on a part time only basis in partnership with the University of Plymouth which enables you to earn while you learn. The flexible model of delivery is a hybrid of one day per week of lectures, alongside an enhanced online learning experience that works around your work and life commitments.

Entry Criteria

Candidates require an appropriate background to honours degree level (2:1 or above) or equivalent and are expected to have achieved at least 2:1 standard or equivalent in any undergraduate research project/dissertation course or module they have taken.
