Who is this course for?
This qualification is suitable for anyone looking to increase their knowledge of children and young people’s mental health.
What are the entry requirements for the course?
Good Standard of English, minimum age 17 years.
All learners will need access to a PC or laptop.
How long is this course?
This course will be delivered and assesssed online via the Learning Curve Platform.
You will be have six months to complete the qualification and will be allocated a tutor who will support you throughout your course.
Applications can be made at any time throughout the year.
Please note that your details may be placed on a waiting list as there is a maximum number of learners at any one time.
What will I study on this course?
Learners must achieve all of the mandatory units:
• Unit 01 Understand children and young people’s mental health in context
• Unit 02 Understand factors which may affect children and young people’s mental health
• Unit 03 Understand children and young people’s mental health concerns
• Unit 04 Understand the impact of children and young people’s mental health concerns
• Unit 05 Understand how to support children and young people with mental health concerns
What Qualification will I gain?
NCFE CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Children and Young People’s Mental Health.
Will I go out on work experience?
Not required on this course.
How is the course assessed?
All units will be individually assessed via the Learnign Curve platform.
Online assessment will gain you a NCFE CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Children and Young People’s Mental Health.
