The COVID-19 crisis has turned a spotlight on existing health, social and economic inequities in Jersey. We have an opportunity to rethink, reorientate and reshape our society so everyone, regardless of their circumstances, can reach their full potential.

Economic wellbeing programmes will be designed to enhance basic English and maths to promote positive outcomes in terms of educational achievement and employability. Provision will also support the Government’s EAL Language Policy by offering learning opportunities to parents who continue to be limited by a lack of provision.

Throughout this intervention we will also increase family social interaction by delivering base level educational support across the programme.
